Neither one has an eyepatch . That being said, and critiquing in terms of their surrounding culture, rather than anachronistically considering them as independent entities, I've got to go with Han because he established the archetype in science-fiction film and Mal inevitably borrowed traits from Han.

BTW if you had moved to Kentucky I would have given you this link Naw. Comic Book World is the place to be when it comes to the Northern Kentucky area. I do find it frightening, actually, that Northern Kentucky/Cincinatti has more game stores than San Diego. It's not quite what one would expect.

For some reason Hollywood hasn't done any (to my knowledge) giant robot Transformers recently (which is why they're considering doing Robotech now) and, waaaaaaay back, Robot Jocks . or power armored sci fi. Granted. They didn't do it with Starship Troopers 1) because it would've covered up the act...
