Hey, I just wanted to let you all know that I might not be able to make the Hyph this year. I've had a family emergency come up and I might be out of state when HyphenCon happens. Since I'm supposed to be running a game you might want to pick an alternate game for my slot just in case.
Sorry,
Morgan.

It's also a shame about the Space Usagi game I would have happily played both.mrlost wrote:Yay! Atomic Robo! I've been waiting to play that. Too bad about Dr. Who.

Right you never know when someone from Guam might turn up at the Hyph. I hear Hyphen-Con is Guam Famous. It's like being World Famous, but it only applies to Guam.

Re: Hyphen-Con 'Ocho' -- Voting Thread
Right, and those are just the people who voted, there maybe a few more people coming who didn't vote. Also some people's games might only have space for less players, I know mine did.

Re: Hyphen-Con 'Ocho' -- Voting Thread
Does the number of games and the number of spaces they have in them match the expected number of players coming to the Hyph?

Re: Hyphen-Con 'Ocho' -- Pimp Your Game
So I've got a couple of ideas for Hyphen-con games, but I think I've narrowed it down these two: King of the Street Fighters The City is overrun by crime, the gangs control the streets, ninja violence is on the rise, and terrorism is rampant. The police are helpless, and only a small group of vigila...

I bow to your superior Google-Fu. Well order it already! It's an awesome setting, and the Savage Worlds Edition has now been reprinted and is back in stock. Well I stand corrected I guess it has been publicly confirmed. At the same time though I never like to talk up upcoming games on the internet too much, at least until I hear that they are at the printers or already published. There have been just too many disappointments and years spent on anticipat...

Also: Ack. Any plans to run this at Gamex or GenCon or anything? Because... I want to play this, and I want to make sure I get a chance. Well, I didn't have any plans for running it at GenCon this year, but it could definitely be on my plate for the Summer Strategicons. Also if say an official FATE...

Curse this two game limit, I have too many game ideas to give. But here we go. Shadowrun (FATE Rules) A Mirrorshades and Pink Mohawks style game using FATE rules to deliver a high octane game of Shadowrunning action. Magic and Machine, meets Metahumanity on the neon lit, rain soaked, mean streets of...

Okay, a few quick questions about the Hyph. What time does it start, where is it located, how many game sessions are there, and does anyone have any crash space? I learned my lesson about trying to drive back at 2am after a full day of Hyph and have decided that and the chance to get some boardgamin...

I have only done the Hyph once so I don't know if there is a usual yet, but that time I did do it as a one day thing. However I think if I am able to do it again this time I'd at least try to spend the night somewhere in San Diego as I was a very tired panda and a danger to myself and everyone on th...

Wasn't trying to rub it in. In fact I remember a few years back when I first got to LA and started running games at Strategicons I had a couple of games where no one showed up or signed up, and a few where I didn't have enough players to run. I've also been skunked when I've run stuff at other regio...

Mike, I've been told I must run Venture Brothers again but the next time I run it there must be a game there, rather then an excuse to improv an episode. Chris, Well almost all the Characters in Doom of Damocles have some powerful magic as well as being fairly bad ass physically. Whereas the Minor T...

Well I'm glad you had a good time with Dresden. Honestly it totally is FATE there isn't a whole lot that's mechanically different, really it's more of an expansion of the FATE system to allow some new and interesting subsystems and effects. Also a powers system that goes above and beyond Stunts, tha...
